I have to geek out for a moment. Check out Virginia Tech’s System X: 1100 Apple G5 Xservers, 4 Apple G5 Xserver Compliers, and one Xserve RAID for a total of 12 gigaflops of computing power and 2.7 terabytes of storage. Whoa. And it is only the 7th largest supercomputer in the world.
