2. Come to the party and bring a brunch item
3. Read, Listen, Eat, Enjoy
Join us live or via Skype.
Participants will stand on a “stage” and speak into a microphone.
All readings will be videotaped.
The revolution will be televised.

How incredible is this?

The past few days I’ve been thinking about all the social injustice in the world, upset and disappointed by colonialism, imperialism, etc… and looking hopeful for the inauguration of Obama and all that it means for our country… and today Sinead O’Connor’s cover of Bob Marley’s War came up on my iPod. It seems very apropos.
Here is her acapella version made famous by her controversial assault on the photo of the Pope on Saturday Night Live. And here she is with the reggae back up band.
Here are the lyrics:
Until the philosophy,
which holds one race superior
and another inferior,
