Whoa!! Photos from Hurricane Frances.

I used to live in West Palm Beach from 6th grade until I went to college. It is horrifying to see what my hometown looks like. My mom is still in Royal Palm Beach and our aunt is in West Palm near the Greenacres neighborhood. Luckily their homes were ok, but there is still no electricity at my aunt’s and there was some damage to the patio overhang at my grandparent’s old home. Jeremy’s sister is in Palm Beach Gardens (just north of West Palm) and her deck on the intracoastal has damage too, not sure what else.

And here is one more – its still being worked on, but I sort of liked it in this state. So here you are. The Winding Path. And if you think that name is lame, drop me an email with a better one. I thought that sound had a bit of a windyness to it.

I just put some more tracks up – The Hollow Men Part Two and the long (20 min or so, so that makes for a large download) Pattern Recognition 01. There is also The Hollow Men Part Three out there, so give that a listen too. Right click em and “save target as” to download.

Stasisfield has a new release from minimal (small?) musician Josh Russell. A live set for Aux-in recorded in Austin Texas. I recommend you grab some good quality headphones, download the two tracks, and just sit and really listen. You can almost feel its texture and motion. ++++

With all the hype of the DNC and RNC almost over, it’s now time to actually get informed and prepare to vote. This is the most important election of my generation. Register!.

Don’t rely of biased news media to tell you what each candidate wants for our country. Check out each individual’s platform: W or K. Neither is perfect, but at least one doesn’t lie and discriminate.

I might also add that THIS is a robot controlled by a captive cockroach, which can run you down with its new chassis. The possibilities are, well, a bit scary.
