Just saw this. Looks good, Asian Punk Boy art show in a new space inLA. You west coasters should check it out.
The gap in postings is due to:
Arrival of several members of Quinn, Richmond and Fosmire families (from Quinn family tree).
Preparation and execution of graduation from the Institute.
Travel to the Island of Santa Catalina off the coast of Long Beach.
Travel to jaw-dropping national park Yosemite, with stay in highly recommended Bug Hostel of Midpines (Mariposa County). 1000 mile round trip drive.
Return to LA, second viewing of Matrix Reloaded followed by discussion.
OK? Now you can await the distribution of images from these trips as wells as LA Art openings from April/May. In the meantime, see you down in Huntington beach at Michele’s show tonight.
Hmm. My links below seem to have freaked out over the weekend. Odd, they were OK on friday. Hopefully fixed now.

Here is a beautiful tour, via flash and some tricky photo manipulation, of an abandoned and run-down hospital. Very compelling, lush and rotten at the same time. THE_HOSPITAL Seen at TMN
All hail the Charlatans (UK if you live in the USA) for recording “My Beautiful Friend” and subsequently managing to revive my spirits on a rainy late afternoon in Santa Monica. Here Here! The Charlatans
Did you know that the intellectual gadfly Collin M. Cunningham has a (relatively) new band? I didn’t either! Till now that is. Breaker! Breaker! I recommend you investigate this serious situation.
Check in here for great documentaion of the decidely wacky, though with some interesting moments, Federation Square project in Melbourne. Previously unknown architects from London – Lab Studio – landed the comission of a lifetime – to design a new civic, cultural and commercial space and went at it with wild abandon. The article does a great job of documenting the whole process, as well as public opinion around the design. Apparently this will be shown on TV, but maybe only in Australia – I am not clear on that.
