Shooting animals by remote control rifle – “violent computer game gone awry or … equivalent of an online slaughter.”
But the Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle, a remote controllable jet capable of “immediate lethal strike”, will simply “reduce the cost per target killed”.
Yeah, we have been using them for years.
So I feel like I have been in seculsion, but in reality I have been coordinating the BFA show at Otis College of Art and Design‘s School of Fine Arts. I must say there are some great artists exhibiting this year, 50 to be exact. Check it out: May 2- 22. The recption is this Friday, May 13, 6-9 pm.
Fantastic illustrating/artist/painters Kozyndan are showing new stuff this weekend in LA at Sixspace. Go to it! Info here ++++
Woke up late. Rainy out. Traffic bad on the 5. But its been a great morning – because I was listening to FALCO all the way to work.
Hey J, is this it?
J: “Yes! But I want to see more!”
I’m just now ready to talk about it… Providence Roller Derby on Sunday was AMAZING. The girls kicked ass on concrete! There was crowd participation. There was beer. The penalty box was a toilet! The outfits were mean AND naughty at the same time. It rocked. I hope to find photos from this weekends event soon.
OH yeah? Well the Velvet Hammer Burlesque on Saturday was kick ass, AC/DC rockin church girl pastie bouncing, vintage car exhaust thrummin madness. I highly recommend it, and not just for the boys. Ask Michele.
Still. I wanna go to the Roller Derby too.
While I have been napping, things have been happening over at ni9e – check out the current NWA Explicit Content Only edits, and check out the short video for Grey. Niiice.
To make Monday just a little bit more exciting – now I have to worry about getting SHOT on my way to work. Great.
Ahh. Monday. And all I wan’t to do is watch the video for Daft Punk’s Robot Rock on loop, on a 42″ screen, through a stack of Marshall Amps, for the rest of the day. ++++
