I just got back from a road trip to Nashville, and heard about the Phenix Mill fire this week. Sad. AIR will do what it can to add this property to our RIP section. If anyone has good photos of the mill pre-blaze, please get in touch with us, and thanks.

I have to geek out for a moment. Check out Virginia Tech’s System X: 1100 Apple G5 Xservers, 4 Apple G5 Xserver Compliers, and one Xserve RAID for a total of 12 gigaflops of computing power and 2.7 terabytes of storage. Whoa. And it is only the 7th largest supercomputer in the world.
There has been a great cross pollination between the lotsofnoise forum and the urban planet forum. People have been cross posting – the “yuppies” and the “dirty artists”. A just got an email from Tim Devin letting me know that the first phase of the Transcontinental Reversioning Society has been completed – he created a great remix of my Crocket The Ironmonger track Three Chords. Next up is my remix of it, and also my remix of his track, which for now I will not reveal.
His Remix ++++
Original Track ++++
I just hooked up Picasa’s Hello, which should enable me to post photos directly from Picasa. If it works, you should be looking at a rendering I recently worked on here at Osborn. Its of the new offices for Pacifica Electrical Contractors.
