Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time; the need for mankind to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Mankind must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.

Today, I hope you can take some time to read some of Martin Luther King Jr‘s speeches… many are here. Our country is so far off track from his visions of nonviolence and equality – starting an unprovoked war and letting down our own people affected by natural disaster. I hope we can find a way to live out his dreams.
