Some Rise Industries news:

If haven’t dropped by already, there is a video installation entitled “waiting” showing at Gallery 825 (825 La Cienega blvd) by Rise members Michele Jaquis and Jeremy Quinn.

Showing at Gallery 825 this thursday is “Take Me to the River”, a 30 minute sneak preview of the upcoming feature length documentary of the largest human gathering in history – the Maha Kumbh Mela in India. Produced by Projectile Arts (New York), the showing will be accompanied by Q and A with Michele Jaquis. Also showing is another documentary on India, Sight Unseen – a travelogue.

Showing starts at 8pm, see Los Angeles Art Association website for more info.

Rise Industries Audio launches its first project, Crocket the Ironmonger. Two tracks available online. More to come.
