Impeach?

“Resolved,” Kucinich then began, “that President George W. Bush be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following articles of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate. ..

Dennis Kucinich started presenting articles of impeachment against Bush last night. Interesting to see if this goes anywhere, or is squashed. He has already tried once against Bush and once with Cheney, so we shall see.

Dennis Kucinich can waste his time if he so chooses. If Clinton can be impeached and not leave office, what does Dennis want to achieve other than the notoriety of stupidity? Every president since the impeachment rule was formed has had someone file for impeachment.Dennis Kucinich should file papers to have Obama impeached from the US

I would agree that this move will go nowhere, as Pelosi has already said she would not allow it, but I do think Bush and Cheney have committed impeachable offenses. The comment about Obama however makes no sense at all.

What Kucinich will achieve is not “the notoriety of stupidity” but the notoriety of having the courage to voice his dissent.
