The Super Furry Animals played this past saturday, with me n Michele very much in attendance. Here is a highlight – after the entire band except for the keyboard/laptop guy left the darkened stage for what must have been 15 minutes, and said laptop guy made wild, banging house (yep, surprised most of the now confused crowd I must say) music complete with rotating and flashing lights – they all strolled back on stage in their super furry Golden Retriever outfits, and gave us their best Rock Salute as the DJ blared the intro theme to –
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR!!!!!!!!
then they simply picked up playing the song they left off at before the whole discotheque thing happened, and (softly) destroyed their instruments (a little).
